OUR STORY

Over 30 years ago, Sharon's parents, Keith and Hilary moved to Wales with their family in search of a safe and peaceful place for young people to camp and escape the stresses of city life. Gellie has undergone a few changes through the years, we've made many friends and added a few (12) Grandchildren to the mix. Today, we offer this same peace and tranquillity to all those who come camping. We welcome everyone who seeks refuge from the burdens of everyday life.

THINGS TO DO
Communal recreation area
Surrounded by nature
FIRE PIT HIRE AVALIABLE
HOT SHOWERS
family run
plenty of space

There's always something to do here. We like to offer something for every taste. For the active camper we have a large field set aside from the camping area where guests are free to play to their hearts desires. There's a volley ball court, football pitch and plenty of space for children to run around.

We have some games and activities available for our guests to share, football, basketball, kites, rounders and frisbees are all stored on the field for campers to use and return when they are finished enjoying themselves. We have recently created some Den making kits which are available to hire for a small charge. The sand pit is a favourite amongst young campers who love to discover the marvellous creations that can be made whatever the weather!

For those looking to relax and revive, we are surrounded by the glorious Welsh countryside with the rejuvenating properties of nature all around. A moment spent in quiet nature certainly heals the soul, with birds, squirrels, rabbits and foxes to be spotted by the patient student of wildlife. Part of the site is also dedicated to conservation, with Natural Resources Wales taking a keen interest in the marsh land which is home to a rare species of moth and orchid. Nature abounds in this area of special scientific interest

We allow campfires, as long as they are in a fire pit raised off the ground. We have such pits available to hire for a small charge, just ask at reception on arrival. Logs are also able to purchase.

We currently operate without set pitches, which allows you to find a space that meets your needs. if you come with a group you can all pitch together and enjoy each other's company. If solitude is your requirement, then there's always a quiet corner to be found, allowing you the privacy you need.

The site is a family run site, with lovely friendly people. Nothing is too much trouble. The site is clean and tidy, a nice place to go to just chill and relax in a camper van or tent.

Our Family loved it and we will keep going back!

We had the best holiday ever in what felt like paradise! The local area is absolutely stunning, with the most unique beaches often feeling private and hidden. Gellie met all of our needs with the warmest welcome, we cannot wait to return and revive one of our favourite holidays ever!

I loved being able to play football whenever I felt like it. There were usually some other children to play with which made it fun!
